05. What are the stages in a complaints procedure?

There is a three stage approach to a complaints procedure:

Stage A
concern/complaint dealt with by the designated/relevant member of staff at the school

Stage B
If the complaint is not resolved as Stage A, the headteacher (or person delegated by the headteacher) will consider it at Stage B.

Stage C
If the complaint is not resolved at Stage B, the governing body complaints committee will consider the complaint at Stage C.
