A complaint has been received from a parent regarding the conduct of another parent at the school

A complaint has been received from a parent regarding the conduct of another parent at the school after an incident outside of the school setting, but both parents are members of the governing body – what is the process?

Schools should only deal with complaints that are related to school based issues. However, the chair (or another governor) may meet with both parents to try to resolve this (as appropriate), if it is effecting the working of the governing body or is connected in some way to governance.
