What is the responsibility of the Headteacher regarding the school budget?

The headteacher is responsible for the day to day management of the school, providing vision, leadership and direction for the school and ensuring it is managed and organised to meet the aims and targets set by the governing body. The headteacher will advise on and formulate reports on the progress made for the governing body to discuss at their meetings, as well as prepare budget plans for discussion.
