Summary
The main issue during recent months has been the re-organisation of primary schools in the Tywyn catchment area, in the south of the county. The LEAs plans for the area have been finally approved by the Gwynedd Council on 10th December 2009. Other isuues which have been discussed with the Chief Education Officer have been school budgets and the Teachers’ Workload Agreement. The Authority has agreed to protect school budgets in the 2010–2011 financial year.
