Leadership Programme For Serving Headteachers (LPSH)

Serco has been delivering the Leadership Programme for Serving Headteachers (LPSH) on behalf of the Welsh Assembly Government since 2001. During 2005/06 the programme was revised and redesigned and now fully supports The Learning Country and the National Standards.

The programme is available to Headteachers with at least three years’ experience of headship, and reflects the belief that effective leadership in schools is a key driver in improving the quality of education that pupils and students receive. It has been designed to be challenging and developmental, focusing on performance, standards and well-being. The programme challenges experienced Headteachers, to further develop and enhance their leadership and management skills.
