Secondary School Banding

Special Edition: Welsh Government Dysg eNewsletter: 11 January 2012

Following the publication of secondary school banding in December 2011 the Welsh Government has received a number of requests under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 for the data used to calculate the bands for each school. As a result of these requests, data will shortly be in the public domain.

The Minister for Education and Skills wants to ensure that the data is reported in an accurate, responsible and reasonable manner. Therefore, he has decided to publish this data on the Welsh Government website alongside all the other information on school banding. The information can be accessed on the following link
