Governors Wales is a democratic organisation and is governed by a Management Committee which determines policies and priorities, monitors progress and standards and oversees the management of its finances click here for constitution. The Management Committee comprises representatives of Local Governor Associations and similar consultative groups in each education area in Wales. The Management Committee meets on 5 occasions each year in conjunction with the various Sub-Committees.
The Officers of Governors Wales are elected at each Annual General Meeting. A person cannot hold a particular officer post for more than three consecutive years, with the exception of the Honorary Life President, Mr Peter Griffin.
